Tobey came to us when his owners decided he deserved better - they were unable to properly care for him so they made a tough decision to allow us to find Tobey a home where he would get all the attention he deserves! Tobey is initially very nervous around men, but LOVES women & children. He also adores other dogs! We aren't sure how he does with kitties yet. Tobey is about 3-4 years old and 12-15 lbs. This little guy comes out of his shell as soon as he trusts you! He is a Japanese Chin/Chihuahua mix and will need a family who understands that he is slow to warm up. Project Precious Rescue, Inc. Meet Popeye (purebred 5 yr old pekingese) !! When we rescued him from our local shelter, he was already missing an eye - we assume this surgery was done when he was a baby as it is definitely long-healed. Popeye's 'handicap' does not slow him down! He is an absolute love bug!!! He does well with other dogs, and we think he would be fine with kitties also. We prefer he goes to a home with kids over 10 as he does get a tiny bit nervous if you approach him from the 'blind' side and he can't see you. Button, Franklin, Wishbone & Tessa are four pit mix siblings who we rescued when they were WAY too young to be away from their mama. Luckily, they are in a wonderful foster home and are almost ready to join their forever homes! They are about 7 weeks old as of 8/18 and will be ready for adoption in another week! We are taking applications as of now. We do not know their mix, and believe they will be in the 50-70 lb weight range when full grown. Mario came to us by pure luck! We were at the local shelter picking up another kitten, and in came a woman with little Mario. She said she had found him in the engine of a car and that he was hurt. We took him to our vet right away - Mario had an abscess on his back and his lip was somewhat detached from his jaw. With the proper care and antibiotics, Mario is as good as new and has truly come out of his shell - he's mischevious and loves to wrestle, run, and play! He is ready to join a forever home! Lulu is an 11 month old chi mix and she came to us after her owners could no longer keep her. She is slow to warm up with people, and would do best in a home without children. She's initially a bit unsure around other dogs but warms up pretty quickly once she feels comfortable. We are unsure about how she is with kitties at this time. Sweet little 1 yr old Razzle is just about ready for her forever home! This poor girl was so severely neglected from the time she was a baby that she is only 5 lbs at full weight, and has corneal opacities from old injuries. She is not blind and can see with no problems. She is currently on eye drops to see if we can get her eyes to continue to improve. She also has a chronic case of the sniffles (most likely for the rest of her life), which we are working on managing as well. Besides these few things, she is healthy and FULL of love. Cody is an 18 month old 12 lb poodle mix. He will need a home with experienced owners as he has a tendency to nip when not given boundaries. No children under 13 in the new home! Cleo is the mama to some of the most recent kittens we rescued. Initially she is timid, but once comfortable she loves to be held & snuggled! She's got a GORGEOUS white coat with hints of black and orange scattered everywhere! Cleo is estimated at around a year old and she is ready for a home of her own. Look at adorable little Roxy! This young lady is about 9 months old & 30 lbs (we don't know how big she will get at full growth) and has had a rough start to her short life. As a baby, she had a broken femur surgically repaired, and 18' of intestine removed due to a severe blockage. This resulted in stunted growth for this little shepherd girl, and it is likely she will need a grain free novel protein diet and probiotics daily for life. Nothing slows Roxy down, though!! Beautiful boy Judge is between one year and 18 months old, and is so incredibly smart and sweet! He is eager to learn and doing a great job training with his foster family, he just needs n experienced forever home to settle into! Judge's coat is a gorgeous light blue-ish tan - he is VERY unique! He is good with other dogs his size once he is comfortable, and he does well with older kids! He should go to a home without small dogs or cats.
